Demographic data suggests that individuals with better earning and spending power are migrating out of Sheboygan to neighboring areas like Sheboygan Falls.  This population base is very desirable with comparatively high income power and higher than average spending behavior.

Sheboygan Falls is situated in the center of Sheboygan County midway between the city of Plymouth (the county's western hub population 9,000) and the city of Sheboygan (the county's eastern hub population 50,582).  Sheboygan Falls is also within 10 minutes of the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Conveniently located only 60 minutes from Wisconsin's largest business markets - Milwaukee and Green Bay via Interstate 43 which is 6 miles east of Sheboygan Falls.  From the south take Highway 28 to Highway 32 North.  From the north take Highway 23 West to Highway 32 South.

Two-thirds of the U.S. major markets - Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Des Moines are located within 24 hours of Sheboygan Falls.

Transportation
Air Service
: The Sheboygan County Airport is located within 10 miles of Sheboygan Falls.  The airport is equipped with an ILS system, and features a 5,400 foot runway which is 100 feet wide. Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee is one hour south of Sheboygan Falls.

Rail Service: Sheboygan Falls is serviced by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Overnight Parcel Carriers: Sheboygan Falls has both United Parcel Service and Federal Express drop-off stations. 

Utilities
The city of Sheboygan Falls is served by a publicly-owned electric and water utility. Power is purchased from Alliant Energy. Water is purchased from the Sheboygan Water Utility. Wisconsin Public Service provides natural gas service.

Environment
Sheboygan County is located within an EPA ozone attainment zone.  New manufacturing businesses or expanded facilities are required to meet certain emission reduction standards.   Reductions can come from additional controls, adoption of pollution prevention techniques, substitute materials or shutdowns.  Offset credits can be granted to businesses that achieve or surpass EPA guidelines.  Business can purchase credits if standard levels are exceeded. Credits can also be sold if companies reduce their emissions.
