Wade House: Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides @ Wade House

Climb aboard a horse-drawn sleigh for a ride through the northern reaches of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.  Rides are available on a first come, first serve basis and are weather dependent.  Call ahead or check Wade House’s Facebook page the Friday prior to confirm sleigh rides will be taking place.

Send the kids to Camp Y-Koda for spring break where they will enjoy a week of summer camp a few months early.  Camp games and activities including ga ga ball, survival skills, archery (ages 7+), nature programs and more.  Please provide a bag lunch each day.  Camp will provide milk and an afternoon snack.  Extended care for $5 extra per day and busing available.  Sign up for one day or all week.  Applications available at Sheboygan and Sheboygan Falls YMCA.

Girls and Dolls Ice Cream Social @ Camp Y-Koda

Attend the 9-11:30 a.m. or 1-3:30 p.m. session.  This event includes a girl and doll fashion show, raffles and lots of fun for girls, their mothers and grandmothers.  This year’s theme is “Under the Sea”.  Join us for ice cream sundaes, punch and cookies.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Camp Y-Koda Annual Support Campaign.  Pre-registration is required.  Register at the Sheboygan Falls YMCA.

SF Kiwanis Club & Girl Scouts Annual Food Drive Pick-up
Apr 1 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

The sixth annual “Ton of Food” community food drive begins March 25 and food will be picked up from homes on Saturday, April 1 between 9 and 11 a.m.  Place your bag of non-perishable food items outside near the front door for pick-up.  You may also drop your food off at Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly in the oversized shopping cart starting March 17th.

Knee High Naturalist Program ~ Silly Sandhill Cranes at Camp Y-Koda @ Camp Y-Koda

Parent-Child program for children age 30 months to 5 years.  Discover the wonderful and wild great outdoors with your little ones!  Types of activities will vary by season.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible parent or adult.  Come to Camp Y-Koda and discover some of the crazy things birds do.  We will look for bird nests, pretend to be Sandhill Cranes and color Easter eggs.  Please bring six hard-boiled eggs per child to color.
