The Rochester Inn

Cole built this Greek Revival store in 1848.  He used the first floor for retail space and the second floor for living quarters.  The third floor was used by the founders of the first Temperance League in the Midwest.  They would gather in disgust for the sinfulness of drinking.  Today, a Yankee Bed & Breakfast known as "The Rochester Inn" occupies the store.
