Yankee Garden

The Barragar landmarked house was built in 1905. He was the town’s pharmacist. Today, an authentic Yankee Garden, featuring plants, flowers and scrubs popular during the late 1800’s sits attractively on the corner of the property.  Tom and Kathy Keyes have lived in this home since 1970.  Their families were settled in the area by 1850 and the genealogy can be view at:  http://www.execpc.com/~keyestl
